Change the way schools are taught in Ireland by engaging with them.
Learn how to export excess solar power to the grid via our Microgen Export Plan.

Solar energy is seen by the government as a way to broaden Ireland's sustainable energy mix. Therefore, they have put in place several incentives to encourage Irish consumers to switch to solar power.
Thermal Solar utilises evacuated tube technology to exclusively heat water and can generate up to 70% of your hot water needs from free solar energy. It works as follows:

The amount of energy you need to power your home, business or other building will determine how much you spend on solar panels.
SEAI Solar Electricity Grant is relevant to you if we are installing your solar PV system.
The battery will be installed in either the garage or utility area. This can be decided at the time of site inspection. Installation usually takes less than one day.
Charge your battery at night with cheaper electricity
Fix faults remotely via the internet. You must also update your software regularly.

We're engaging with schools and communities across Ireland to change the way your community thinks about energy.
A typical Solar PV installation would consist of 10 panels, a hot-water diverter and an average price of EUR7.975 (before grant). However, the exact quote is dependent on a site survey. After grant of EUR2,400, the price for this 10 panel system (4.1kWp), would be EUR5,575. Solar Share will maintain pric-ing for all installations with deposits paid after 1st may 2023. Installed, you could save up to EUR 1,190 per year (based upon 2,280kWh solar electricity that is self-consumed and 1,220kWh exported to the grid). With the current electricity rate of 41c/kWh compared to microgen's 21c/kWh you can expect a return on investment of approximately 5 years.
Solar panels usually last somewhere between 20-30 years. This does not mean that solar panels stop generating electricity after this timeframe, but rather it means that their efficiency will substantially re-duce.
If you are considering installing a solar PV with us, the SEAI grant for solar electricity is the most im-portant.
The property must have been occupied by the owner before 2021.
Solar PV panels for home use that generate renewable electricity.
While solar panels do generate energy during cloudy and rainy days, they may not be enough to meet your home's energy requirements. Of course, any power deficit can be comfortably met with battery-stored energy or from the excess energy sent to the energy grid.
The Government Microgeneration Support Scheme is now available so that those with a registered microgeneration device can sell any excess electricity back to Ireland's electricity grid. This will help households reduce their carbon footprint and save money.
25 to 30 years The industry standard for most solar panels' lifespans is 25 to 30 years. Most reputable manufacturers offer production warranties for 25 years or more. The average break even point for solar panel energy savings occurs six to 10 years after installation.
